Classes:
Protective coatings applied to fasteners provide various levels of protection. The Australian Standard for fastener performance (AS3566) currently lists three classes of corrosion coatings with a proposed fourth.
** Class 3: For general external use in mild and moderate industrial and mild marine applications. Stratco strongly recommends that Class 4 fasteners be used in moderate marine applications. Class 3 is intended for roofing and cladding fasteners in standard applications.
^ Class 4: For external use in moderate and severe marine environments, classified in accordance with ISO 9223 as generally between 100m from the beach front to approximately 300m inland. In high winds this may extend further inland. Fasteners conforming to Class 4 should be used with Ultra steel and XRW steel (when used 200-400m from marine environments).

Typical Hex Head
Top threaded section
Extrudes sheeting towards the seal to maximise waterproofness. Grips the sheeting for a secure connection. Stops sheeting from moving when walked on.
Dwell section
Prevents the sheeting from riding up during fixing and minimises distortion of the profile.
Shank hole enlarger
Enlarges the hole in the sheeting to minimise damage to the protective coating on the screw.

Flue Caps
Flue Caps can prevent birds, water and smoky smells from entering the building through the flue. Smoky smells are prevented by keeping rain from coming down the flue and mixing with the creosote inside the chimney. Galvanised, zinc/alum and a full range of roofing colours are available.

Stratflo Louvres
Stratflo louvres provide a secure, visually appealing solution to the challenge of increasing building ventilation, particularly in hot and humid climates. The louvres are designed to resist the intrusion of wind driven rain, and can be constructed with insect screening if required. Louvres fitted with a second stage vent provide extra security and weather protection for cyclonic conditions. Stratflo louvres are approved by the Darwin Building board.

Method Of Order
Ridge
Two styles of ridge capping are offered in 0.40mm and 0.55mm base metal thicknesses. Roll type ridge is a traditional style of ridge cap commonly found on corrugated steel roofs. In some States, a stiffening rib is formed into the skirt of the ridge to add strength and assist with placing the screws. Alternatively, a simple 3 Bend Ridge Cap can be pressed to your exact requirements.
Dimensions
Valley Gutter
Stratco manufacture a standard Valley Gutter in galvanised, zinc/alum or a full range of roofing colours, to a length that will suit your requirements. Stratco Valley Gutter is available in 355mm or 400mm girth in 0.40mm and 0.55mm base metal thicknesses. A tile valley gutter is available in the eastern states only with a girth of 450mm, in 0.40mm base metal thickness.

Ventridge
Standard Ventridge
Ventridge provides continuous natural ventilation with effective weather protection under normal weather conditions. It is designed to effectively remove heat, smoke and fumes on an ongoing basis from factories and industrial buildings. It also blends in with a range of building styles due to its low profile.

Stratflo Ventridge
Stratflo Ventridge provides continuous natural ventilation with effective weather protection under normal weather conditions. It takes maximum advantage of natural stack action, which is a result of temperature differences between the inside and outside of the factory causing pressure variations resulting in air movement. Heat from plant, personnel, and also solar heat radiating through the roof and walls, warm the inside air which rises and flows out of the building through the ventridge.
Engineering
The strength of the Stratflo Ventridge has been designed and tested in accordance with the appropriate Australian Standards.
Adaptability Ventridge can be fitted to almost any part of the roof, providing the roof supports are installed at the recommended spacings (refer diagram below). The clear spacing ‘A’ between top purlins must be the ventridge throat width with a tolerance of -0mm to +40mm. Eg, for a 380mm throat ventridge the clear space must be between 380mm and 420mm.
