Stratco customers have been enjoying the convenience of click & collect at stratco.com.au for a long time now. For a majority of our online store items, you can buy online and we will have it ready for collection in just 4 hours!
The great news is our click & collect service also includes a wide range of products, such as Roofing, Walling, Fencing and Outdoor Kitchens that require a little longer to prepare for you. You can now enjoy the benefits of online ordering 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from anywhere, without a delivery fee. We will manufacture to your exact requirements and be in contact when your order is ready for convenient collection from your local Stratco store. Of course delivery is still available should you need it.
What to Expect
Unlike the delivery option, in most cases Click & Collect will be free of charge, with a few exceptions for remote locations. When placing your order, you will receive an estimated time frame for delivery of your goods into your preferred store for collection. Our friendly team will be in contact to answer any questions you might have, confirm when your order is ready and explain the collection process for your chosen store.
HowTo Collect Large Items
At the time of collection our friendly team will assist you in collecting your order and placing it in your vehicle or trailer for safe transport your materials. We encourage our team members to assist, however please ask any of our store team members should you require further asssistance.
Please note we can not allow you to load items onto your vehicle without adhering to your local loading and towing requirements. To make it easy for you, we provide free trailer hire at many of our stores. See more information below on trailer hire, towing and load requirements for your location.

Safe Vehicle Loading Requirements
If you are collecting large items, please ensure your vehicle complies with your local towing and load regulations before arriving to collect your goods. We must ensure all collections have been safely and securely loaded. Depending on your pick up location, we may be able to offer free trailer hire.

Rules & Regulations for Towing and Load Requirements
For South Australia,
- The maximum weight of any motor vehicle fully loaded (including passengers) must not exceed the vehicles Gross Vehicle Mass specified by the manufacturer. This information can be found in the vehicle handbook.
- Your load on a vehicle or trailer must be secured and not cause the vehicle or trailer to be unstable or become an obstruction.
- The load on a vehicle, including trailer, must not overhand more than 1.2 metres over the front of the vehicle or 150 millimetres on either side. The maximum width is 2.5 metres.
- If your load overhangs to the rear and cannot be seen easily you must have a bright piece of cloth attached during the day and a red light at night.
- Lastly, if you were to have a fallen road you cannot leave it on the road without approval. You are responsible for removing it and organising this as soon as you can safely.

For Victoria,
- The load on a vehicle, including trailer, must not overhand more than 1.2 metres over the front of the vehicle or 150 millimetres on either side.
- If your load overhangs to the rear and cannot be seen easily you must have a bright piece of cloth of at least 30 x 30 centimetres during the day, and a red light at night.
- The maximum overall width for a vehicle and any load in 2.5 metres.
- All loads must be covered to secure and contain the materials.

For New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory,
- The load cannot overhang more than 150 millimetres beyond the trailer’s width and no more than 2.5 metres overall width, whichever is less.
- If your load overhangs to the rear and cannot be seen easily you must have a bright piece of cloth attached during the day and a red light or two red reflectors at night.
- The overall length of the vehicle and trailer combination including the load cannot exceed 19 metres.
- The load should be kept as low and close as possible to the axle or axles. The trailer drawbar should be level or slightly nose down.
- All loads must be covered to secure and contain the materials.

For Queensland,
- You must not exceed the legal limits of the vehicle or trailer’s total length, height, width and rear overhang.
- The total width cannot be more than 2.5 metres, total height cannot exceed 4.3 metres and the side overhang from the load can be up to 150 millimetres.
- The load must not project more than 1.2 metres from the front of the vehicle’s headlights.
- If your load is clearly visible and does not project over 1.2 metres from the back of your vehicle you do not require a warning device. However, if your load does project over 1.2 metres you must use a warning device such as a bright coloured cloth of 45 x 45 centimetres during the day and a red warning light or at least two red reflectors at night. All warning devices should be displayed at the very end of your load to be clearly visible to other people.

For Western Australia,

- The total width cannot be more than 2.5 metres, total height cannot exceed 4.3 metres and the side overhang from the load can be up to 150 millimetres. If the load exceeds 2.5 metres width you will need a permit to carry it issued my Main Roads WA.
- The distance from the centre of the axle or wheel group to the rear of the load cannot exceed 3.7 metres.
- A red light must be used at night attached to the projecting load that may not be easily seen.
