Backyard and Garage Week
This week, the teams turned their attention to their backyards and garages, transforming their outdoor spaces into functional, stylish extensions of their homes. From entertaining areas and landscaping to practical storage, there was plenty for the judges to consider.
With auction day getting closer, every detail matters. The teams needed to create spaces that looked impressive while also appealing to potential buyers.
Chantel and Wyatt’s Stratco Outback® Sunroof
One of the standout features of Backyard and Garage Week was Chantel and Wyatt’s 5 x 4 metre Stratco Outback® Sunroof, creating a stylish and functional outdoor entertaining area.
The motorised adjustable louvres allow them to control sunlight and airflow, while an optional rain sensor can automatically close the roof when wet weather arrives. Six low-voltage downlights, a sleek dark frame and crisp white louvres complete the design, complementing their outdoor kitchen, pizza oven and entertaining space.
It's a great example of how a well-designed patio can bring an outdoor area together, providing shelter and flexibility for dining, entertaining and relaxing.
Adam and Jolene
Adam and Jolene delivered another impressive reveal, continuing to show their ability to create polished spaces. Their backyard and garage brought together style and functionality, helping them remain strong contenders as the competition approaches its final stages.
Their result was even more significant this week, as they finished in a tie for first place. With their momentum continuing, they'll be hoping to carry that confidence into the final reveals.
Courtney and Sev
Courtney and Sev once again showed why they're among my favourite teams. Their backyard demonstrated their creativity and eye for detail, creating an outdoor space designed for entertaining and enjoying the warmer months.
However, their custom wine cellar also became a talking point, with controversy adding drama to their week. Despite this, the girls continued to impress and secured a share of first place, proving they're still serious contenders.
Lisa and Rosco
Lisa and Rosco focused on creating an outdoor area that complemented their home while balancing style with practicality. Their reveal added another important piece to their overall property, with the backyard and garage needing to work just as well as the interior spaces.
As the competition draws closer to auction, they'll be looking to make every remaining space count and give buyers another reason to choose their home.
Rick and Tayla
Rick and Tayla worked to bring their outdoor areas together, with the challenge of creating spaces that were both functional and visually appealing. Backyard and Garage Week gave them the opportunity to add value to their home beyond the interior rooms.
With only a few reveals left, consistency will be key as they prepare for the final stretch of the competition.
Chantel and Wyatt
Alongside their Stratco patio, Chantel and Wyatt worked to create an outdoor area that complemented their home and provided space for entertaining. The Outback® Sunroof helped bring the different elements together, combining practical shelter with a modern finish.
While their reveal had plenty to offer, they finished the week behind the other teams. They'll be hoping to finish strongly as the competition heads towards auction.
The First Tie of Season 22!
One of the biggest surprises this week was the first-ever tie, with Adam and Jolene and Courtney and Sev sharing first place. Both teams impressed the judges, making it a memorable result as the competition enters its final stages.

My Week 11 Thoughts
I loved seeing the teams bring their outdoor spaces to life this week, particularly Chantel and Wyatt's Stratco Outback® Sunroof. It's a great example of how a well-designed patio can create a more functional and inviting entertaining area.
Courtney and Sev remain my favourites, and I continue to love seeing their creativity shine through each reveal. With the auction getting closer, it'll be interesting to see which teams can make the strongest final impression.
The Stratco Big Shed and Outback® Sunroof
Stratco has played a part throughout The Block Season 22, with the Big Shed supporting the scale of the teams' builds and the Outback® Sunroof featuring in Chantel and Wyatt's outdoor entertaining area.
With adjustable louvres, integrated lighting and a modern finish, the Outback® Sunroof can be tailored to suit different homes and outdoor lifestyles.
What's Next?
Next up is Front Yard and Façade Week, as the teams put the finishing touches on their homes ahead of auction. First impressions will be more important than ever, and I can't wait to see how each team completes their Block journey!
