Application for Membership
Only individuals over the age of 18 years may be members of the Super Saver Program. Stratco employees are not eligible for membership.
Application for membership may be made by an eligible person completing and submitting a Stratco Super Saver Membership Form at a Stratco Home Improvement Store or on line at the Stratco Website.
Stratco may refuse an application for membership at its discretion.
Terms and Conditions
Members will be bound by these terms and conditions below as varied from time to time. Stratco reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions at any time and without notice. Please check the Stratco Website for any changes to these terms and conditions at regular intervals.
Variations to these terms and conditions will not negate or modify any rights or entitlements of Members already accrued.
Membership Card
Members will be issued a Super Saver Card on acceptance of their application for membership. Where the application is made online, it will be sent to the Member's address nominated on the application form.
Super Saver Cards are for personal use of the Member and are not transferrable.
Super Saver Cards remain the property of Stratco at all times and any loss, destruction or theft of a card must be reported to Stratco as soon as possible. Stratco may issue a replacement card at its discretion.
Stratco is entitled to regard any person presenting a Super Saver Card as a Member and is not responsible to Members for any loss of benefits arising from the unauthorised use of any Super Saver Card.
Change in Member Details
Members must promptly notify Stratco of any change in their personal details set out on any application for membership of the Super Saver Program including any change in address, phone numbers and email addresses. These changes can be notified at any Stratco Home Improvement Store or via the Stratco Website.
Super Saver Benefits
Presentation of the Super Saver Card at a Stratco Home Improvement Store or in certain circumstances, by entering the appropriate Member details online at the Stratco website, will enable the Member to enjoy various benefits offered to Members from time to time including:
- Discounts off the price of Super Saver Discount Products purchased by the Member
- Earning Super Saver Reward Points on the purchase of Super Saver Reward Products purchased by the Member (1 point for every $1.00 spent)
- $5.00 will be applied to a Stratco voucher for every 100 points accrued, up to a maximum of $50.00 for a single transaction. At Stratco’s discretion, the maximum total value of vouchers in any one transaction can be increased for a defined period of time.
- When double points are offered, a $5.00 will be applied to a Stratco voucher for every 100 points accrued, up to a maximum of $100.00 for a single transaction. At Stratco’s discretion, the maximum total value of vouchers in any one transaction can be increased for a defined period of time.
- When triple points are offered, a $5.00 will be applied to a Stratco voucher for every 100 points accrued, up to a maximum of $150.00 for a single transaction. At Stratco’s discretion, the maximum total value of vouchers in any one transaction can be increased for a defined period of time.
- Participation in competitions and other promotions run by Stratco for the benefit of Members from time to time.
The above benefits are for the private and personal use and enjoyment of Members and may not be used or enjoyed for any company or other business purposes.
The above benefits will be offered to Members strictly subject to these terms and to any other terms and conditions specifically relating to those benefits notified by Stratco to Members from time to time. Stratco may suspend or terminate any offer of such benefits, or vary any terms and conditions relating to such benefits, at any time and without notice. Any suspension or termination of any offer, or any variation to any terms and conditions relating to such benefits, will not negate or modify any rights or entitlements to such benefits already accrued.
Super Saver Discounts
Members will be offered discounts off the usual retail price of Super Saver Discount Products as determined by Stratco from time to time.
The Super Saver Discount Products and the amount of the above discounts on those products will be advertised at Stratco Home Improvement Stores or posted on the Stratco Website from time to time.
Super Saver Discounts will apply only to purchases where payment is made in full. No discounts will be available on lay-by or other rain checks.
Super Saver Discounts will apply only where the Member produces his or her Super Saver Card at the time of purchase. Super Saver Discounts will not be applied retrospectively to purchases.
Super Saver Rewards
Members will be eligible to be rewarded on all purchases from selected Stratco Home Improvement Store.
Members will be rewarded 1 Super Saver Reward Point for every $1.00 spent in one transaction where payment is made in full. No rewards will be made on lay-by or other rain checks.
Super Saver Rewards will only be awarded where the Member produces his or her Super Saver Card at the time of purchase. Rewards will not be made retrospectively to purchases.
Super Saver Rewards will only be awarded once in respect of any particular purchase of products.
Super Saver Rewards credited and the balance of Super Saver Rewards accrued to Members will appear on receipts issued to Members on the purchase of products using the Member's Super Saver Card.
Redeeming Super Saver Reward Points for Stratco Vouchers
$5.00 will be applied to a Stratco voucher for every 100 points accrued, up to a maximum of $50.00 for a single transaction. At Stratco’s discretion, the maximum total value of vouchers in any one transaction can be increased for a defined period of time.
Vouchers will be issued to the Member automatically at the time of purchase of Super Saver Rewards Products giving rise to that balance.
Redemption of Stratco Vouchers
Stratco Vouchers issued to Members may be redeemed on the purchase of products or services from Stratco Home Improvement Stores or online at the Stratco Website. Multiple vouchers may be redeemed in one transaction.
Stratco Vouchers cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
No change or credit is given on the unused portion of a reward voucher.
Expiry of Stratco Vouchers
Stratco Vouchers will expire 3 calendar months from the date of being awarded if they are not redeemed in accordance with these terms and conditions.
No transfer of Stratco Vouchers
Stratco Vouchers are not transferrable and may only be redeemed by the Member to which they are issued by Stratco.
No replacement of Stratco Vouchers
Members will be responsible for the security and safe keeping of any Stratco Vouchers issued to them. Stratco will not issue any replacements for Stratco Vouchers which are lost, destroyed or stolen.
Reversal of Super Saver Reward Points credited
Stratco will deduct from the balance of Super Saver Reward Points credited to Member any Super Saver Reward Points that have been credited in error or that relate to a purchase which has been cancelled, reversed, or a refund given and when Stratco replaces a lost or stolen Super Saver Card.
If Super Saver Reward Points have already been redeemed for a Stratco Voucher prior to a reversal of Super Saver Reward Points referred to above, the equivalent number of Super Saver Reward Points will be deducted from future Super Saver Reward Points earned by the Member. In the event that the Member's membership of the Super Saver Program is terminated or the Super Save Program is suspended or terminated prior to the Member earning a sufficient number of future Super Saver Reward Points against which such deduction can be made in full, Stratco reserves the right to cancel or void any unredeemed Stratco Voucher issued to the Member on such termination and to require the Member to pay the face value of any Stratco Vouchers issued to the Member and redeemed prior to such termination to the extent required for Stratco to effectively place itself in the same position as if such deduction was made in full.
Disputes
Disputes about any matter relating to the Super Saver Program (including the award, redemption and reversal of Super Saver Reward Points) must be notified to Stratco in writing at a Stratco Home Improvement Store or via the Stratco Website. A reply in the form of a written statement by Stratco deciding such dispute is final and binding.
Termination of Membership
Stratco may terminate a Member's membership of the Super Saver Program without notice for any reason including, without limitation, if the Member:
- fails to spend at least $250.00 on the purchase of products or services from selected Stratco Home Improvement Stores in any 12 month period
- commits any breach of these terms and conditions
- abuses any benefit, privilege or reward afforded to the Member under the Super Saver Program
- supplies any misleading information or makes any misrepresentations to Stratco or its agents in connection with the Super Saver Program
- is otherwise dishonest or fraudulent in its dealings in connection with the Super Saver Program
A Member may terminate their membership of the Super Saver Program at any time by giving written notice to Stratco at the Stratco Website or by calling the Stratco Customer Service centre on 1300 165 165.
On termination of a Member's membership of the Super Saver Program, the Member will lose any Super Saver Reward Points accrued by the Member but will still be entitled to redeem any Stratco Vouchers held in accordance with these terms and conditions.
Stratco will not be liable for any loss or other consequence arising out of termination of a Member's membership of the Super Saver Program including (without limitation) for loss of any Super Saver Reward Points accrued at the time of termination.
Suspension and termination of Super Saver Program
Stratco may suspend or terminate the Super Saver Program at any time at its discretion without prior notice.
On termination of the Super Saver Program, Members will lose any Super Saver Reward Points accrued but will still be entitled to redeem any Stratco Vouchers held in accordance with these terms and conditions.
Stratco will not be liable for any loss or other consequence arising out of suspension or termination of the Super Saver Program including (without limitation) for loss of any Super Saver Reward Points accrued at the time of suspension or termination.
Notices
A notice will be deemed to be given by Stratco to a Member if it is sent via text SMS, post or email address of the Member appearing in Stratco's Super Saver Program database.
Disclaimer
Stratco makes no express or implied warranty or representation in connection with any benefits, privileges or other rewards under the Super Saver Program.
Limitation on Liability
Any liability that Stratco may have to a Member whether for negligence, breach of contract or otherwise in respect of the Super Saver Program is limited to:
- crediting Super Saver Reward Points to the Member
- awarding Stratco Vouchers to the Member
- redeeming Stratco Vouchers held by the Member
In accordance with these terms and conditions. Stratco will have no liability whatsoever for any loss of profits or any other incidental, consequential or indirect loss or other consequence in connection with the Super Saver Program.
No waiver
No granting of time indulgence or failure to enforce a provision of these terms and conditions shall constitute a waiver by Stratco of the same.
Release and indemnity
Subject to these terms and conditions, each Member releases and indemnifies Stratco from and against any liability arising from:
- any breach of these terms and conditions by the Member
- any misuse of the Stratco Website by the Member
- any other conduct by the Member which entitles Stratco to terminate the Member's membership of the Super Saver Program
- the Member's membership in the Super Saver Program.
Privacy
In keeping with the provisions of the Australian Privacy Laws, Stratco is committed to an individual’s right to keep personal information private.
Following is the information that Stratco is required to communicate to all applicants for membership in the Super Saver Program. Applicants are advised to read this information to understand the Privacy and Credit Reporting Policy. By joining the Super Saver Program, Members authorise Stratco to collect, use and disclose their personal information in accordance with this information and Stratco’s Privacy and Credit Reporting Policy. A full version of the Privacy and Credit Reporting Policy can be found on the Stratco Website.
Stratco collects Members’ personal information in order to conduct the Super Saver Program. If the information requested is not provided, the Member may not participate in the Super Saver Program. Members acknowledge that the number of Super Saver Reward Points and their name may appear on purchase receipts.
Unless otherwise notified to Stratco, each Member agrees that Stratco may use this information for an indefinite period, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation, including sending commercial electronic messages and telephoning the Member. Stratco may use information gained about Members during the Super Saver Program, including information regarding a Member’s purchase of products and services for research to develop future products, services and offers. All information collected by Stratco is for its own use. Stratco will not to sell or otherwise disclose Member information to any other person, organisation or corporation that is unrelated to Stratco.
A Member may request to access, update or correct any information about that Member held by Stratco by completing and submitting an appropriate form at any Stratco Home Improvement Store and/or on the Stratco Website.
Severability
If any part or all of any provision of these terms and conditions becomes or is found to illegal or unenforceable that provision may be severed from these terms and conditions and the remaining provisions of these terms and conditions shall continue in force.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions will be construed according to and governed by the law of South Australia, Australia. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in and of South Australia in relation to any dispute arising under these terms and conditions.
Definitions and Interpretation
In these terms and conditions, unless the context otherwise requires:
- Member means a current member of the Super Saver Program in accordance with these terms and conditions
- Stratco means Stratco Holdings Pty Ltd ACN 007 893 781 and its subsidiaries and related bodies corporate
- Super Saver Card means the card issued to a Member on acceptance of an application for membership of the Super Saver Program
- Super Saver Discount Products means Stratco products selected by Stratco for sale at a discount to Members advertised at Stratco Home Improvement Stores or posted on the Stratco Website from time to time
- Super Saver Discounts means the Super Saver Discounts described in these terms and conditions
- Super Saver Program means the program for Super Saver Discounts, Super Saver Rewards and other benefits, privileges or other rewards for Members described in these terms and conditions
- Super Saver Reward Points means the points earned by Members purchasing products from selected Stratco Home Improvement Stores and which are credited to Members in accordance with these terms and conditions
- Super Saver Rewards means the Super Saver Rewards described in these terms and conditions
- Stratco Voucher means a voucher issued by Stratco which may be redeemed on the purchase of products or services from selected Stratco Home Improvement Store
- Stratco Website means www.stratco.com.au
- the singular includes the plural and vice versa
Frequently Asked Questions
In the top red bar, on the right hand side, click on the 'Login / Register' (person) icon. Click on the 'Super Saver & Garden Club' link to visit the Register Page. In the right column under 'I don’t have a card yet', fill in your details and click 'Create Account'.
Your online profile will be set up, your details will be processed and your Super Saver card will be sent to you in the post.
You can now begin shopping online, and accumulating points and vouchers.
Please allow at least two weeks for your card to arrive in the post.
When your card arrives, you can use this in-store. Or you can quote your Super Saver number at the checkout while waiting for your card to arrive.
In the top red bar on the right hand side, click on the 'Login / Register' (person) icon. Click on the 'Supersaver & Garden Club' link to visit the Membership Register Page. Enter your details, you must use the same email account that your Super Saver card was registered with or most recently updated to.
Your account will be created and Super Saver loyalty details will be linked together allowing you to view, use and earn vouchers.
When registering your card online for the first time, via the Register Page, if you have not provided an email in the past, you will be required to enter one now.
You can use your Super Saver card in-store, but an email address is required to activate your online profile.
Please visit an online email provider such as Gmail or Outlook to set up a free email account.
