The VELUX Solar Opening Skylight range brings natural light and fresh air to pitched roofs in both sheds and homes. Powered by a concealed, rechargeable battery linked to an external solar panel, it opens and closes via the included wall-mounted keypad, so you can ventilate even when the sun isn’t out. Keep it simple as a plain skylight, or frame and line the shaft to create a standout centrepiece. Energy-efficient glazing and optional blinds (sold seperately) help minimise heat transfer and glare for year-round comfort.
