Protect Yourself Against UV
Sun damage is caused by ultraviolet (UV) radiation, not temperature or sunshine. UV levels are not dependent on windy, cloudy and cool days. It is an invisible source of radiation and unlike infrared radiation, we cannot feel it on our skin either.
Given UV exposure is so prevalent in Australia, Australians need to be particularly careful when it comes to sun exposure, so there is no better way to witness the ‘competition’ than from the shady seats of the Stratco Home Stadium.
The UV levels can be categorised using the UV index which can be separated into low (1-2), moderate (3-5), high (6-7), very high (8-10) and extreme (11+).
To minimise skin damage, you need to make sure you protect your skin in five ways whenever the UV is 3 and above:

- Slop on SPF 30, or higher, broad-spectrum sunscreen
