This Stratco National Patio Day, Saturday 5 December help us raise funds for Cancer Council to bring us closer to a cancer free future. The more you fundraise in the lead up to your National Patio Day celebration, the greater difference you can make to the lives of those impacted by cancer.
Money raised through National Patio Day will fund life-saving research, prevention and support programs for all Australians impacted by cancer while also raising awareness about the importance of sun protection whenever the UV is 3 and above.
5 Ways To Help Raise Funds For Cancer Council
1. Purchase a Stratco Patio
For every Stratco Patio sold Stratco will donate $50 to Cancer Council to help fund Cancer Council’s vital research, prevention and support programs and raise awareness about the importance of sun protection whenever the UV is 3 and above. 2. Host a party
National Patio Day is the perfect opportunity to celebrate with friends and family under your favourite patio and on the first Saturday of Summer and support for Cancer Council. Share the link to your fundraising page via Cancer Council on social media to friends and family to fundraise. You could include games on the day such as finksa, a giant tumbling tower, boche or a swimming race where all competitors need to donate to compete. Or create a list of penalties that result in a donation including no hat, no sunscreen and no shade to ensure your guests are sun safe throughout the day. You could even host a movie night with ticket admission so all funds raised can be donated to Cancer Council. Have fun with fundraising by following the tips above, the choice is yours!

Make a $1 donation to Cancer Council on the Stratco website. Skin cancer accounts for the largest number of cancers diagnosed in Australia each year, with at least two in three people diagnosed with skin cancer before age 70. We want to change that, and we can't do it without your support. You can donate $1 on top of your transaction and help Cancer Council work towards a cancer free future.

You can support a host or donate directly to Cancer Council on the website. The money raised through National Patio Day enables Cancer Council to fund vital prevention, research, advocacy and support programs that save lives.
