Stratco Outback Dealers Embrace New COVID-19 Safety Measures

STRATCO Authorised Outback Dealers making changes to continue assisting you with your Patio enquiry

In the midst of the COVID-19 Pandemeic isolation measures, Stratco and our Authorised Outback Dealers have adjusted our business practices to enable us to continue to assist you with  your patio requirements and help you create your perfect outdoor sanctuary.

As part of the Outback Dealer network, Stratco requires the following of our Outback Dealers – some of these measures might seem awkward as they are not part of the normal Dealer service (i.e. we’re asking Dealers not to shake hands for the foreseeable future) – please don’t be offended. We ask this for your safety and theirs.

The Outback Dealers’ Design Consultants will:

  • Still be happy to do an obligation-free at-home consultation. However, if you are uncomfortable in giving the Design Consultant access to your house, let them know (they will not be offended) and ask them about the virtual quoting and design options available. Stratco’s latest ‘Live Link’ functionality means that you can get the patio design of your dreams from the comfort of your own home.
  • Offer to use side or rear access to your property and will be more than happy to complete the consultation outdoors – perhaps in the location of your future patio!
  • Use Hand sanitiser prior to entering the appointment and at the conclusion of each appointment.
  • Not shake your hand – please do not be offended – this is purely a temporary measure to minimize the risk of transmission and to keep everyone safe.
  • Use disinfectant wipes regularly on all samples and devices that they use as part of the design consultation.
  • Have gloves and masks available when meeting with clients. They will put these on if you feel more comfortable with them doing this, so please do not feel awkward about asking the Design Consultants to utilise this precaution – they will do so willingly.
  • Maintain appropriate social distancing recommendations – as specified by the Australian Government this is 1.5M
  • Offer to leave a physical quote pack, however, they will also send you a virtual copy of the quote pack regardless so don’t feel awkward about asking them not to leave a quote pack.

The Outback Dealers’ Installation Teams will:

  • Use side or rear access to get to the back of the property (where available) and remain outside of the house for the duration of the installation process.
  • Use Hand sanitiser prior to entering the site, throughout the installation process and when leaving the site for the day.
  • Use disinfectant wipes regularly on all tools and other equipment that they use daily and at the end of every job.
  • Ensure the final product is wiped down with a cloth and mild disinfectant. They may not wipe down the section that is covered in the protective plastic film – this film is applied on a factory line and there is no chance of contamination under this layer.
  • Have gloves and masks available on all jobs. They will put these on if you feel more comfortable with them doing this, so please do not feel awkward about asking the installers to utilise this precaution – they will do so willingly.
  • Prioritise talking to you over the mobile phone – even if you are at the job location (inside the house). There should be no need for person to person interaction, but if there is, they will maintain appropriate social distancing recommendations – as specified by the Australian Government this is 1.5M
  • Not shake your hand – please do not be offended – this is purely a temporary measure to minimize the risk of transmission and to keep everyone safe.

Please let the Dealer know at any time if you are feeling uncomfortable with the measures they are putting in place to keep you and your family safe. They will do everything within their power to rectify the situation. In these changing times, there is nothing more valued than customer feedback to ensure that we get this process right for future consultations and installations.
